SITE PROGRAM DESCRIPTION The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Superfund Innovative Technology Evaluation (SITE) Program, now in its sixteenth year, encourages the development and implementation of (1) innovative treatment technologies for hazardous waste site remediation, and (2) characterization and monitoring technologies for evaluating the nature and.

The major objective of this demonstration program is to develop reliable cost and performance information on innovative alternative technologies, so that they can be considered in Superfund decision making.

Common measurement. This document is intended for environmental decision-makers and other individuals involved in hazardous waste site cleanup. The Superfund Innovative Technology Evaluation (SITE) Program, now in its seventh year, is an integral part of EPA's research into alternative cleanup methods for hazardous waste sites around the nation.

Superfund Innovative Technology Evaluation (SITE) Program. The SITE Program is intended to 1) accelerate the development, demonstration and use of new or innovative treatment technologies and 2) demonstrate and evaluate new, innovative measurement and monitoring technologies.
